3. Online Booking & Service Requests

When booking through our website or contact forms, you agree to provide accurate and current information. Quotes are based on the details you submit and may change if additional cleaning needs are identified during the service.


4. Payments & Billing

Payments are due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept major payment methods listed on our website.
Late or declined payments may result in cancellation, rescheduling, or service suspension.


5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

At Uptown Maids Houston, we value your time and the time of our cleaning professionals. To ensure smooth scheduling and fair operations, please review our cancellation guidelines below:


A. No-Fee Cancellation Period

You may cancel your cleaning appointment with no fee as long as the cancellation is made at least 1 week (7 days) before your scheduled service.


B. Short-Notice Bookings (Appointments Scheduled 2–3 Days in Advance)

Services booked within a short timeframe (2–3 days before the service date) are subject to the following:

  • Rescheduling Fee: $30

  • Cancellation Fee: 20% of the total invoice

This helps cover the time reserved specifically for urgent bookings.


C. Same-Day Cancellations

If you cancel on the same day of your scheduled service, a full service fee (100% of the total invoice) will be charged.
This fee compensates our team for blocked schedule time and travel preparation.


D. Working Hours & Timing

Our office and customer support hours are:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Cancellations or reschedule requests received outside of these hours will be processed on the next business day, and the applicable fee will be based on the timestamp when we receive your message during working hours.

F. Emergencies

We understand unexpected situations happen. If you experience an emergency, reach out as soon as possible, and we will review the situation case-by-case.


6. Service Limitations

For safety and quality reasons, we do not:

  • Move heavy furniture or large appliances

  • Clean areas considered hazardous

  • Provide services outside the scope of your scheduled cleaning package

  • 9 ft Height Policy: Our team can only clean areas within a reachable height of up to 9 feet for safety reasons. Any cleaning above 9 ft (including high windows, ceiling fans, light fixtures, or tall walls/cabinets) requires special equipment and must be quoted separately.
  • Our cleaners may refuse tasks that pose a safety risk or fall outside our capabilities.

 


7. Commercial Services

Commercial cleaning requests require a detailed quote. Final pricing may vary depending on square footage, frequency, and specialty services.


8. Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction matters. If any area is not cleaned to your expectations, notify us within 24 hours, and we will return to re-clean the area at no additional charge.


9. Texting & Communications

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive appointment updates, service reminders, or promotional messages.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.


10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, images, graphics, and logos—is owned by Uptown Maids and protected by copyright laws. You may not copy, distribute, or use our content without written permission.


11. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our site for unlawful purposes

  • Submit false information

  • Interfere with website functionality

  • Attempt to access restricted systems or data

13. Limitation of Liability

Uptown Maids is not liable for:
